Couples Therapy
Relationships naturally experience periods of conflict, distance, and transition. Couples therapy provides an opportunity to slow down, better understand one another, and develop healthier ways of navigating difficult conversations.
My approach is collaborative, active, and balanced. I don’t take sides or determine who is right or wrong. Instead, I help couples recognize the patterns they become caught in together and better understand each partner’s experience so you can begin responding differently.
Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and interpersonal approaches, we’ll work to improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, navigate conflict more effectively, and better understand each other’s underlying needs.
Couples often seek therapy to address:
Recurring conflict
Communication difficulties
Trust and rebuilding after betrayal
Emotional distance
Life transitions
Premarital concerns
Differences in needs or expectations
Strengthening connection and intimacy
The goal isn’t to eliminate conflict. It’s to help you build a relationship where both partners feel understood, respected, and able to navigate challenges together.
